managing to leave
in my preferred time-period
I avoided the brutishness
of peak-hour public transport
and found my calmest moment:
standing in the kitchen
cat underfoot
cooking an unadventurous
but not too unhealthy
dinner for one
in absolutely no hurry
whatsoever.
